Game Overview

Exit 8 places you inside a maze-like liminal environment. Threats react fast to mistakes and noise, and your job is to assemble a reliable escape route before time, patrols, or lives run out.

Runs are built around door and defense timing under pressure, key-hunting and lock progression, and puzzle chains that gate your escape, so progress depends on controlled decisions instead of panic movement. It also highlights the push toward Door 8 as the main objective.

How to Play

• Start by mapping nearby rooms and identifying at least one safe retreat loop.
• Collect keys and tools in sequence so each pickup unlocks the next objective cleanly.
• Control line-of-sight and spacing so threats do not trap your route.
• Trigger doors, lights, masks, or tools at the latest safe moment to maximize their value.
• If a route feels unstable, reset positioning instead of forcing a risky push.
